Under the skin.
Multicrew is the headline, but it's not the whole story. Here's everything DCMii changes — and, because you'll ask anyway, what it deliberately doesn't.
01Multicrew
Two people. One aircraft.
DCMii's own crew system links the front and rear cockpit over a DCS-native channel with session, peer and message checks. It doesn't just mirror switch graphics — it coordinates cockpit actions, flight-control ownership and the core aircraft systems between both players.

Request control with R
In multiplayer, press R to take the flight controls. Authority moves between seats — you both stay where you are. The handover covers gear, throttle and speedbrake behaviour.
Cold & dark, together
Main power, JFS, engine start, avionics power, INS, IFF Master and RWR Power are shared, so both crew members can work through a cold start.
Shared mission systems
Master Arm, Laser Arm, flight modes, DED and steerpoints work from either seat — no need to grab the stick to change modes.
HUD repeater camera
The back seat gets a live grayscale camera with HUD symbology on the supported two-seaters (all except the Barak 30).
Synchronized between seats
- Power & startup
- MAIN PWR, JFS starter, the OFF-to-IDLE transition, avionics master switches, weapon and sensor power, IFF Master and RWR Power.
- INS & navigation
- INS mode selector, coordinated alignment on both clients, DED pages and steerpoint changes.
- Flight controls
- Throttle follow from the controlling seat, fuel flow and fuel level, speedbrakes, landing gear handle and gear state across handovers.
- Engine readouts
- RPM and fuel-flow indications, engine audio and nozzle-position indication.
- Mission systems
- Master Arm, Laser Arm, NWS, A-A / A-G / Dogfight modes and CAT I/III stores configuration — from either seat, without taking control.
- Canopy & safety
- Canopy position and the yellow canopy handle. Canopy jettison and ejection seat remain supported.
Intentionally not synchronized
- SMS weapon counter
- The native SMS count display is not synchronized between pilot and WSO.
- TGP & FCR cursor
- Pod and radar cursors and target locks stay local to each seat.
- INS internals
- The switches and workflow are shared, but each client still runs its own native alignment.
- RWR / CMDS / ECM
- RWR power is shared; threat display, CMDS and ECM states are not claimed as synchronized.

02Avionics
A cockpit that knows which jet it's in.
The variants don't just look different on the ramp. Displays and symbology are adjusted per family, from the Sufa's RWR to the HUD/HMD rework on every two-seater.

Sufa RWR
A Sufa-style continuous blue ring with center dot, a corrected lock line, compact Flare/Chaff counter and a PWR OFF state.
Sufa DED labels
The DED CNI page labels the radios GRN / RED on the Sufa.
HUD / HMD rework
Graphical improvements across the dual-seat F-16D and F-16I family, with an optional sharper-line setting.
CPD in the single-seater
The Center Pedestal Display is integrated in the supported single-seat aircraft, based on Kaiqi / Pobit's work.
03DTC
Plan once. Load the cartridge.
Since V4.1.0, all eight variants support DCS's native Data Transfer Cartridge. Load compatible DTC profiles, steerpoints and avionics settings directly through DCS — the same way you would in the stock Viper.
All 8 variants
Native DTC support integrated across the F-16CM, every F-16D / Barak and the F-16I Sufa.
Reload-safe
An additional issue affecting saved DTC data when reloading cartridges has been fixed.
Tested in SP and MP
Tested in singleplayer and multiplayer, including on Pixel Storm.
Works with the crew
Steerpoint and DED changes are shared between seats, so the WSO can manage navigation while the pilot flies.
04Targeting pods
The real Sniper. Finally.
V4.1.0 replaces the old custom Sniper — which ran on Litening technology underneath — with the actual native DCS AN/AAQ-33 Sniper ATP. Sniper and Litening are now two separate, fully selectable pods.
Native AN/AAQ-33 Sniper ATP
The real DCS Sniper implementation instead of a Litening-based stand-in.
Two pods, your choice
Litening and Sniper are separate options in the loadout.
Calibrated mounts
Individually calibrated Sniper mounting offsets for the single-seat, F-16D / Barak and F-16I Sufa variants. Gaps and clipping fixed — including around the Sufa's additional equipment.
Crew note
Pod and radar cursors and locks are local to each seat — the WSO and pilot each see their own TGP state.
05Weapons
Optional, modular, your call.
The Main Package contains five separate OvGME packages. Only two are needed for the core aircraft — the weapons are independent add-ons you switch on or off.
SPICE 2000
Separate guided-weapon package, including a CFT configuration. Updated in V4.1.0: outdated CBU preset definitions no longer overwrite newer corrections. Leave it off to keep the standard compatible bomb choices.
Python-5
Separate missile package, independent of the other add-ons.
AGM-154B
Separate package — enable it if you want the capability.
CFTs, tanks & ECM
Supported conformal and external fuel-tank configurations, and an internal ECM jammer selectable on compatible loadouts.
06Cockpit improvements
Details you notice on the second flight.
Texture and material passes, Sufa-specific cockpit treatment and the HUD repeater in the back seat — plus maintenance to keep up with current DCS builds.

Sufa cockpit treatment
A distinct F-16I cockpit with its own RWR presentation and DED labels.
Visual maintenance
Further texture and material improvements and updates for current DCS compatibility.
Liveries pack
Optional Israeli, Bulgarian, Hellenic and Moroccan-themed schemes for F-16C_50 and F-16D_50.
07Performance & stability
Fewer crashes. Cleaner install.
A lot of the work in recent releases is invisible: crash fixes, compatibility corrections and a cleaner package layout.
F-16CM CPD crash fixed
The major single-seat CPD crash is fixed, connector configuration corrected, and different DCS installation paths are handled.
Crash & compatibility fixes
Outdated configurations cleaned up, plus fixes based on crash reports, community feedback and testing.
Leaner setup
Unused weapons-package entries removed, redundant diagnostics reduced, package sizes optimized.
Singleplayer & multiplayer
Fly a two-seater solo (switch seats with 0 / 9) or as a crew on a server that supports the mod, like Pixel Storm.
Downloader & installer
The DCMii Downloader always fetches the latest release; the optional DCMii Sufa Installer puts the files in place for you.
